Agartala, 2nd December 2025 : The School of Science, the state’s as well as Northeast’s Premier institute for different Job Oriented Competitive Exams located at Shyamali Bazar, Agartala, has once again demonstrated its excellence by achieving remarkable success in the Tripura Civil Service (TCS Gr-II) and Tripura Police Service (TPS Gr-II). As per the Results of TCS/TPS Gr-II declared by the TPSC on first December, 2025, it has to be mentioned here that thirty candidates have been selected for Tripura Civil Service Gr-II and fifteen candidates are selected for Tripura Police Service Gr-II. A total of Twenty-five students have qualified in TCS/TPS Gr-II Examination from School of Science this year.
Out of thirty candidates for TCS Gr-II, School of Science has bagged fifteen officers’ post and Out of fifteen candidates for TPS Gr-II, School of Science has bagged ten Posts.
The Top Rank holders from this institution are Biprajit Biswas, S/O Bishnu Kr. Biswas who stood first in TCS Gr-II. Biprajit Biswas is an Electronic & Telecommunication Engineer. The first Rank holder in TPS Gr-II is Debapratim Nag, S/O – Bijoy Kumar Nag a Retd. Police Officer of the State. Debapratim is a Mechanical Engineer and presently working as ICDS Supervisor. Swasati Acharjee, D/O – Dulal Ch. Acharjee stood first among women candidates in TCS Gr-II. She completed her B.Sc in Horticulture. Banti Das, S/O – Jagadish Das stood first among SC category in TCS Gr-II. Mukti Pada Sarkar, S/O-Sukumar Sarkar of village Lankamura stood first among SC category in TPS Gr-II. He completed his Post Graduation in English from Tripura University. He is presently working as STGT Teacher. Among unreserved category Ajit Mitra stood second in TCS Gr-II & Anjan Debnath stood second in TPS Gr-II.
The other students who succeeded from SCHOOL OF SCIENCE, in TCS Gr-II are Kabir Bhowmik who stood Sixth & Somnath Roy who stood Seventh. Among the Tribal Candidates who succeeded in TCS Gr-II are Prabandip Chakma, Norbahadur Reang, Ripan Debbarma & Liza Debbarma who stood second among ST women candidates. Uttam Das, Pranesh Sarkar, Jayanta Kumar Das got selected in TCS Gr-II.
Arghyadeep Choudhury, Rana Das & Brigrade Debbarma succeeded in TPS Gr-II from this institution. Many former students of School of Science who got enrolled in the year 2015-2016 also succeeded in the said examination.
With this year’s success the total achievers from School of Science in TCS/TPS Gr-II Examination has gone upto Two Hundred & Thirty-five.
It may be mentioned here that total number of Achievers in TET-I, TET-II, STGT & STPGT is Nine hundred Ninty-five and total number of achievers in TPSC (Combined), SSC, Bank exams etc from this institution is Two thousand one hundred forty-five.
School of Science is at Shyamali Bazar in Agartala, which is a premier institute for competitive examination in the state which prepares students for Civil Services and other allied examination, is proving its sincere work by keeping in mind its own reputation and responsibility with remarkable success in every competitive examination.
