Agartala, 23rd November 2025: The NCC Alumni Association, in collaboration with the 13th Tripura NCC Battalion, celebrated NCC Day 2025 today with a series of public awareness programmes, including a cyclothon and walkathon. The events were organized to make the day memorable and to promote fitness, discipline, and civic responsibility among citizens.
A large number of NCC cadets, alumni, youth organizations, and local residents participated in the programme. Marching and cycling through key roads of Agartala, the participants spread messages on health, sports, and social awareness.
The event was graced by Sports Minister Tinku Roy along with other dignitaries. In his address, the minister highlighted the vital role of the NCC in instilling discipline among youth and inspiring them to contribute to nation-building.
Organizers stated that the initiative would play a significant role in strengthening the culture of fitness and encouraging greater social participation across the state.
