Agartala: July 20. The Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress today paid tribute to 13 martyrs in commemoration of the martyrdom of July 21. Pradesh Trinamool Congress workers gathered separately in various districts of the state.
State General Secretary Baptu Chakraborty, Tapas Roy, Vice President Prakash Das, Mahila TMC President Panna Deb, Youth President Santanu Saha, Youth Vice President Neel Kamal Saha and all the leaders gathered today to observe Martyr’s Day. The Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress workers did not step back to show love and respect to the 13 martyrs who spoke from Malyadan. T
hey also did not forget the way Trinamool Congress worker Mujibar Islam Majumder was brutally attacked by BJP-ruled goons. From the streets of Agartala to Dharmanagar, Ambasa, Belonia, Amarpur, Sonamura, Trinamool Congress workers in every place of the state observed this day because they could never forget the brutal incident that happened on this day in 1993. Trinamool Congress members have assured that the blood of one of the 13 martyrs will not go in vain, they will continue to fight to the death to stand up for the rights of the people in the state of Tripura and against the autocratic government. Trinamool Congress is gearing up to fight on a bigger scale in the coming days as the common people are facing hardships at the hands of BJP-ruled goons. Trinamool Congress has stepped into the field to bring the dawn of freedom and change to Tripura and has been able to stand against corruption, terrorism. In the Martyr Memorial Program, Tridib Dutta, Pradesh Vice President of Trinamool Congress, Prashant Sen, District Leader, Kajal Banik, Youth Leader, Rahul Majumda and other leaders and supporters of Trinamool Congress were present.
