Agartala: June 01. In a significant development former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday met BJP national president JP Nadda and held discussion on overall situation of the state.
Speaking about the meeting a source close to Deb, who is also MP of Rajya Sabha said the primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the current state of affairs in Tripura.
“During the closed-door meeting, Deb and Nadda engaged in deliberations regarding various aspects of the state’s overall situation”, the source said.
“During the meeting the former Chief Minister and BJP national president had discussed about Tripura. The BJP leader has noted down all the important development starting from political part to development side everything. They also discussed about the results of recently held Assembly election and role of the present state government”, said the source.
On Facebook, Deb wrote, “In a meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda ji, I got guidance on various important organizational issues in detailed discussions”.
Earlier Deb in a press conference has said that outsiders are trying to interfere in the party’s organization works and he has flagged all these issues before the central leadership.
