Tripura to host first-ever NCC festival in September

Agartala, September 09, 2023: Tripura is set to host its first-ever NCC festival this month, where NCC cadets from 26 colleges of the state will display their skills and talents. The announcement was made by Major General Gagan Deep, the Additional Director of NCC North Eastern Region, who visited the state on a two-day tour.

Major General Deep met with Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on the first day of his visit and discussed ways to expand the reach of NCC in the state. He also briefed the Chief Minister about the various challenges faced by NCC and its future plans.

On the second day, he visited the NCC camp at Collegetila and interacted with the cadets and the officials. He praised the enthusiasm and dedication of the cadets and encouraged them to participate in the upcoming festival. He also reviewed the facilities and infrastructure at the camp and assured to provide necessary support.
