Agartala, May 06: With the entire state, including the Udaipur subdivision facing a critical shortage of blood, a blood donation camp was organized on Tuesday at Udaipur English Medium School under the initiative of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The event was inaugurated by Gomati Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Debal Debroy in presence of Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Shital Chandra Majumdar, school principal Sutapa Sur and school teacher Manidipa Chowdhury.
During their addresses, the dignitaries emphasized the significance of blood donation, stating that there is no greater act of generosity. They highlighted that while the camp itself was a one-day event, the importance of regular blood donation remains paramount. Donors were encouraged to continue contributing every three months to support patients in need.
