Agartala, 5th December 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Tripura on December 19 to attend the North Eastern Council (NEC) plenary sessions, which will be held on December 20 and 21.
A senior official from the Tripura Government, speaking on the condition of anonymity, revealed that the plenary session was initially planned for August 31 and September 1. However, it was postponed due to flooding in the region.
