Water crisis: Villagers warns to boycott vote

Agartala Nov 28: Residents of Manirampur ADC Village have been reeling under extreme water crisis for long time.Severe crisis of water has rattled public life in various area across the state especially in the hilly suburbs.

Locals of Bhaskar Para, Hrishyamukh warned the BJP-led government to boycott vote if ongoing water crisis problem is not solved at the earliest.Reportedly, a total of 40 families resides in that village. Although the government claims to have spent lakhs of rupees in developing the village, but in reality, development is zero.

Agitating locals of the area on Monday said, “Even though the political leaders are talking about development, they did nothing for us yet”.“The promises made to us prior elections of solving the water crisis have not been solved yet”, they added.Locals warned to boycott vote if the government doesn’t takes appropriate measures to solve the water crisis issue.
