Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana, the Congress on Thursday appointed media coordinators with immediate effect.
In a statement, party spokesperson Pawan Khera said that Shakeel Ahmad Khan has been appointed as national media coordinator for election in J&K in place of Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin, who has expressed his inability to take the responsibility in view of his recent appointment as secretary AICC.
Amrish Ranjan Pandey has also been appointed as media coordinator for the J&K election.
Meanwhile, Anil Yadav and Rana Baljeet Singh Chahal have been appointed as media coordinator for the upcoming assembly election in Haryana.
