Five people, including two girls, died and six others were injured when the
wall of a cremation ground collapsed in Gurugram, Haryana, police said on Sunday.
According to the police, local people said wood had been inserted along the wall.
Because of this the wall tilted and fell on Saturday night. Some people sitting near the wall and children
playing nearby were crushed as the wall caved in suddenly.
The deceased have been identified as Tanya (11), Khushboo (10), Devi Dayal (70), Manoj
Gaba (54), Krishna Kumar (52).
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The
police have taken the bodies into their custody and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem
