Continuing his attack on the Modi Government, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday alleged that ‘India’s foreign policy has collapsed’ and demanded to know “who asked Trump to mediate between India and Pakistan”.
He tagged a video of an interview by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to a foreign TV channel on his X platform and asked, “Why has India been hyphenated with Pakistan? Why didn’t a single country back us in condemning Pakistan? Who asked Trump to “mediate” between India & Pakistan?”
“India’s foreign policy has collapsed,” Rahul alleged.
On Thursday, the former Congress president hit out at Prime Minister Naredra Modi calling his speeches as “hollow”.
He also accused Modi of “compromising the hounour of India”.
He asked, “Just tell me: Why did you believe Pakistan’s statement on terrorism? Why did you sacrifice India’s interests by bowing to Trump? Why does your blood boil only in front of cameras?”
“You have compromised the honour of India!,” he alleged.
