Some 400 people have been evacuated from a residential building in the Russian capital of Moscow over a heavy fire, the Emergencies Ministry said, adding that one person has been rescued.
A fire hit the house on the Leninsky Avenue on late Wednesday. About 130 firefighters and 38 vehicles are fighting the blaze.
“Due to quick actions of the rescuers one person has been rescued from an elevator. Some 400 people have been evacuated from the house,” the ministry said in a statement.
