Agartala: December 19. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today visited GB Pant hospital to inquire health condition of Panchali Bhattacharya wife of former chief minister Manik Sarkar. Panchali Bhattacharya was seriously injured in a road accident when she was returning home in a rickshaw last Saturday evening when a car had hit from behind.
She suffered severe head injuries. Chief Minister Doctor Manik Saha went to GB Hospital to see Panchali Bhattacharya today. The Chief Minister spoke to the doctors and health workers of the hospital. Later spoke to Panchali Bhattacharya who is undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. He inquired about her physical condition and treatment.
Later, the Chief Minister spoke to Leader of Opposition Manik Sarkar. The CM also spoke to Siddha Reddy, doctor at GB Hospital. Panchali Bhattacharya’s physical condition is currently stable. There is no reason to worry. Panchali Bhattacharya will be released from the hospital after three or four days. The Chief Minister said, “I share good relationship with former Chief minister Manik Sarkar beyond the political lines”. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha wished speedy recovery of Panchali Bhattacharya.
