Three persons are feared dead after a car they were travelling in skidded off and plunged into River Chenab on Tuesday in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the car rolled down into the river Chenab near Gaddoo on Doda-Kishtwar road following which police team along with SDRF men rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation.
“At the accident site near Pul Doda, during the search, one driving licence was of drowned person was found and he was identified as Manjeet Singh, resident Village Sangoi, Tehsil Bhdi,” police added and said that search operation is still in progress.
