Seva International distributes 4,000 pineapple seedlings among 25 farmers of Longtharai Valley sub-division

Agartala, December 20, 2022: Seva International, a non-governmental organization distributed pineapple seedlings to pineapple growers. This organization organized a grand event for farmers’ welfare with the farmers in Nalkata and Kanchanchara villages of Longtharai Valley sub-division.

Panchayat Samiti members Rahul Debbarman and Deepshankar Tripura were present as special guests on this occasion.

The guests discussed how pineapple farmers will be benefited by pineapple cultivation in a scientific manner. Through the event, Seva International distributed 4000 pineapple seedlings to 25 pineapple farmers under the Pineapple Cultivation Project.

Indrajit Tripura, in-charge of Longtharai Valley sub-division, said Seva International is hopeful that this initiative will strengthen the pineapple farmers’ way of growing pineapples in a scientifically sound manner. Besides, the organization has various plans to work with the farmers involved in farming in the future.
