COVID-19 cases spike: 365 people infected and 171 recovered in last 24 hours

Agartala, July 20, 2022: Tripura recorded 365 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 10.86 percent in the last 24 hours while 171 persons recovered. The state Health department on Wednesday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 3,361 samples comprising 3275 RATs and 86 RTPCRs were tested.

Among these tested samples, a total of 365 positive cases were recorded comprising 332 of RATs and 33 of RTPCRs. However, 171 patients recovered in last 24 hours. Out of 365 positive cases, 186 of them are from West Tripura district, 14 in Sepahijala district, 39 in Gomati district, 23 in Dhalai district, 27 in North Tripura district, 13 in Unakoti district and 46 in South Tripura district and 17 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.

Till now, altogether 25,13,581 samples were tested and 1,03,270 people were found positive across the state while 921 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,00,374.
