Agartala, 2nd August 2025:   The Lions Club of Agartala Anish organized a vibrant Peace Poster Competition at Holy Cross School on Friday, bringing together students to explore the theme “Together as One.” The event aimed to foster global understanding and unity through the medium of artistic expression.

Part of the internationally recognized Lions International Peace Poster Competition, the initiative invited young minds to creatively depict their visions of peace, encouraging them to reflect on unity and harmony in today’s world. The competition is a hallmark program of Lions Clubs International, promoting visual storytelling as a tool for peacebuilding among youth across the globe.

The event also coincided with celebrations of ‘Rohit Mehta Lions Quest’ week, held to honor Rohit Mehta, the first Indian to serve as President of Lions Clubs International. Observed by clubs nationwide, the week pays tribute to Mehta’s legacy in service and leadership.

Club organizers expressed enthusiasm for the dual celebration, noting that both initiatives highlight the Lions movement’s commitment to empowering youth and promoting community values.
