Agartala, 2nd August 2025: The Sanatani Hindu Sena commemorated its inaugural foundation day on Saturday at the Muktadhara Auditorium, drawing a vibrant assembly of public figures and community members committed to strengthening the ethos of Sanatan Dharma.
The ceremony witnessed participation from Sudhangshu Das, Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare, Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumdar, and Sanatani Hindu Sena President Tapas Majumdar. The event spotlighted shared values of faith, cultural preservation, and communal solidarity.
Addressing reporters, Minister Das emphasized the imperative of religious cohesion, citing the resilience of Israel as a model for strategic unity. “A mere 90 lakh population is standing firm against global adversities—united by faith. Hindus must foster similar conviction and oneness,” he said.
He lauded Tapas Majumdar and the Sena’s commitment to safeguarding traditional Hindu practices amidst mounting societal shifts, describing their efforts as “a crucial cultural intervention.”
Das elaborated on the enduring essence of Sanatan Dharma, calling it the spiritual and philosophical bedrock of Hinduism. “It encompasses eternal principles—righteousness, duty, and cosmic order—that define our way of life,” he added.
In his address, Mayor Dipak Majumdar commended the organization’s vigilant stance in defending Hindu heritage. He praised the Sena as “guardians of tradition” whose mission remains vital in preserving cultural continuity.
