Later, the Minister informed that on August 01, one very sad incident had occurred.

“I was in Delhi. Under my Mohanpur Assembly Constituency, there is a village called Biramohan Area where one youth, who had just completed his Madhyamik, named Daniel Debbarma, went in a place with his friends for roaming. While returning, they were attacked by a group of miscreants, and Daniel sustained serious injuries. The next day, as his condition worsened, he was admitted to GB Pant Hospital, where he sadly passed away. The entire area is gripped with grief and anger. The culprits must be brought to justice. I am deeply saddened by this loss,” said the Minister.
