Agartala, 7th August 2025: A youth sustained serious injuries in a late-night road accident near the Satsang Ashram in Hapania.
Police sources informed that the incident took place when the youth’s motorcycle collided with a road divider causing him to fall violently onto the pavement. The crash took place around midnight and eyewitnesses promptly alerted the Amtali police station.
Emergency responders, including firefighters rushed to the scene and rescued the injured individual. He was immediately transported to Tripura Medical College & Dr BR Ambedkar Teaching Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Authorities have yet to confirm the identity of the victim. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
