Bharat Bikash Parishad celebrates ‘Raksha Bandhan’ at Unakoti District Hospital

Agartala, 10th August 2025:   The Bharat Bikash Parishad’s Kailashahar Branch organized a ‘Raksha Bandhan’ program at Unakoti District Hospital today.

Members of the Parishad tie rakhis to doctors, nurses and healthcare workers symbolizing gratitude and solidarity beyond familial ties. Sudhangshu Sarkar, President of the Kailashahar Branch emphasized the significance of such initiatives in promoting harmony. “We organize Rakhi Bandhan programs every year to spread the message of unity and mutual trust. Last year, we held a similar event at RGM Hospital, and we’ve also reached out to BSF camps and other institutions,” he said.

The program was attended by Bharat Bikash Parishad Secretary Gourav Roy, members Archita Dey, Arindam Sarkar, Shekhar Biswas and several others, who actively participated in the symbolic gesture of tying rakhis and extending warm wishes to the hospital staff.
