Four held with drugs in Ambassa

Agartala: July 20. Police and TSR jawans today arrested four drug peddlers from the surrounding jungle of the Hridiya Basti area adjacent to the Ambassa railway station. A total of 62 vessels of drugs were recovered from their possession.

 Besides, mobile sets were also recovered from them during this operation. At present, the police are interrogating them by bringing them to the Ambassa police station. They were identified as Ekta Debbarma, Jyotish Debbarma, Sanjit Paul and Sanjeev Pal. The police believe that they also use drugs and sell drugs. It is known from the police that Ekta and Jyotish Debbarma have been arrested several times in drug-related cases.
