Agartala, 12th August 2025: On the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Border Security Force’s (BSF) 114th Battalion organized a spirited Tricolour Rally in Sabroom celebrating national pride and unity.
The rally commenced from the Kathalchhari Border Outpost (BOP) and culminated at BOP Sabroom, led by Battalion Commandant Mahendra Singh, accompanied by Second-in-Command Banwari Lal, Deputy Commandants G.S. Pathak and Himanshu Khugshal, and Assistant Commandant Basant Raj.
Local residents, youth groups, and volunteers joined BSF personnel in the vibrant procession, waving the national flag and chanting patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” The streets echoed with songs of freedom, transforming the region into a festive canvas of unity and pride.
Community leaders hailed the initiative as more than ceremonial—calling it a powerful message of patriotism and national cohesion for future generations. Residents expressed admiration for the BSF’s role in both safeguarding the border and fostering civic spirit.
