Agartala, 3rd September 2025 : Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said the Pradesh BJP is fully prepared for the upcoming Village Council and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections.
Chairing an organisational meeting of the BJP Janajati Morcha at the state party office, Dr. Saha said the session was convened to discuss challenges faced by the Janajati community and chart out ways in which the party and the government could jointly address them.
“Our aim is to send a strong message to the Janajati people that their issues remain our priority. We had been planning this meeting for several days, and today it was finally held,” he said.
The Chief Minister underlined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently stressed Janajati welfare, an area neglected by past governments. “Since 2014, under PM Modi’s leadership, several initiatives have been taken for Janajati upliftment. Following this vision, the state government is working to reach every corner of the community,” Dr. Saha said.
On the upcoming elections, he reiterated, “Be it the Village Council or TTAADC polls, we are ready. But this meeting is not just about elections—its primary focus is to serve people and resolve their problems.”
