Agartala Jan 08: Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma today inaugurated several developmental programs in Santirbazar subdivision.
This includes a 24 Stall in Birchandranagar Bazar by the RD Department at a cost of Rs 79 lakh 97 thousand, a shed room for selling pigs in Manpathar market built at a cost of Rs 43 lakh 36 thousand, 700 meter paver block road constructed by the RD Department from Manpathar PS to Baidyabari Chakma Para built at a cost of Rs 39 lakh 7 thousand.
Dev Varma also inaugurated three newly constructed works constructed under the supervision of RD Department.
Apart from this, the Dy CM also inaugurated newly constructed 132 KV Electricity Department sub-station constructed at a cost of Rs 35 crore.Speaking to the reporters, Dev Varma said that the construction work of the Sub-station started after the formation of the BJP government in the state.
Lambasting the previous CPI-M government, Jishnu said, “Not all works were done in the CPI-M era that we are inaugurating, but we have initiated new projects and completed them in this short tenure”.Lauding the ruling government in Tripura, Dev Varma said, “The state government is carrying out such developmental programs to provide proper electricity service to all”.Later, Jishnu Dev Varma addressed a public gathering where he highlighted the developmental aspects under the present BJP government in Tripura.
