Agartala, 18th September 2025: In a gesture underscoring growing diplomatic ties, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in India has formally invited Shri Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma, Maharaja of Tripura, to attend a reception celebrating Uzbekistan’s Independence Day.
The event is scheduled for October 3, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the Uzbek Embassy, located at EP 40, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021.

In the official invitation, Ambassador Sardor Rustambaeav emphasized the dual significance of the occasion: commemorating Uzbekistan’s independence and sovereignty, while also highlighting the expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and India. The letter, dated September 16, reflects the Embassy’s intent to foster deeper cultural and political connections through such high-profile engagements.
The presence of Maharaja Pradyot, a prominent figure in Northeast India’s socio-political landscape, is expected to add a touch of regal gravitas to the celebration, further symbolizing the strengthening of bilateral relations.
