Agartala, 18th September 2025: Marking Biswakarma Puja celebrations, members of the South Tripura Autorickshaw Mazdoor Sangh, affiliated to the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh organized a cultural and religious event near the Punjab National Bank area at Santirbazar. As in previous years, the puja was conducted with full adherence to traditional rituals.
This year’s celebration saw the active participation of members of the transgender community, who demonstrated a spirit of generosity by distributing clothes to economically disadvantaged residents of Santir Bazar. Locals noted that such an initiative had not been witnessed in previous years.
Speaking to the media, one of the participants expressed a desire to continue similar social outreach efforts in the future. Residents warmly thanked the organizers for their compassionate gesture.
