Santirbazar Press Club in collaboration with out-of-state doctors hold mega health camp

Agartala, 22nd September 2025:   In a commendable initiative aimed at serving the underprivileged, the Santirbazar Press Club organized a mega health camp today at the BRC Hall of Vidyajyoti School, Santirbazar. The event featured a team of specialist doctors from the Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital, Andhra Pradesh, who provided free medical consultations and services to residents of the subdivision.

The Press Club, known not only for its commitment to accurate journalism but also for its active involvement in social welfare, took this step to ensure that economically disadvantaged individuals could access quality healthcare without financial burden.

People from various corners of Santirbazar subdivision attended the camp, availing themselves of the medical services offered. The initiative was met with widespread appreciation, with many expressing gratitude to the Press Club for its efforts.

Speaking about the program, Bikram Debnath, Secretary of the Santirbazar Press Club stated that such health camps will continue in the future as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to community welfare.
