Python rescued from paddy field in Bishalgarh

Agartala: July 21. A huge python snake from a paddy field in Chandanagar in Bishalgarh was recovered by the officials of the forest department.  It is needless to say that pythons are constantly being rescued in different areas of Bishalgarh sub-division where people are spending their days in a kind of fear.

As usual today, farmer Helan Miah of Dhwajnagar area went to work in the paddy field when he saw a huge python snake lying on the ground. As soon as the screams started, the youth of the area quickly rushed and rescued the python from the paddy field. Later, when information was given to the Sepahijala Forest Department, the forest workers led by Sukanta Das, officer of the Sepahijala Forest Department, rushed to the spot and the python was rescued from the area and taken to the zoo.
