Agartala, 21st October 2025: In a decisive move to uphold internal constitutional discipline and safeguard its organizational integrity, the Tripura unit of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has permanently expelled six senior leaders from all organizational posts and primary membership.

According to an official notification issued by the BMS, the decision followed extensive deliberations and a thorough investigation into multiple allegations. The expelled leaders are Biplab Das, Rup Nandi, Prabir Ghosh, Mahesh Dutta, Ratan Ray and Anupam Dhar.

The notification stated that the individuals were found guilty of serious anti-organizational activities and procedural violations. Among the key charges was the unauthorized formation of a North District committee without prior approval from the Tripura state unit. Additionally, the accused allegedly failed to report financial transactions exceeding Rs 1 crore to either the state or district committees, raising concerns over mismanagement.

Despite being served show-cause notices earlier, the responses submitted by the accused were deemed unsatisfactory, irrelevant, and lacking organizational coherence. Consequently, the North District committee announced on September 29, 2025, has been declared null and void.

The BMS has further clarified that the expelled individuals are strictly prohibited from using the organization’s name, emblem, flag, or any identity-bearing materials. Any violation of this directive will invite legal action.
