Agartala, February 01, 2023: In the poll-bound Tripura, the Election Commission of India along with state police administration have developed a very tight administrative system. Still, drug addicts are desperate to continue their business.

It is reported that a youth named Yusuf Ali from Assam on a pulsar bike bearing registration number TR01AP-8085 was caught by the well-armed Tripura police at Naka Point while trying to enter Tripura with brown sugar.

There is already a police search system at that Naka Point, in which additional search system with CRPF force has been developed around the elections. Meanwhile, the Tripura police are sitting there to get information from secret sources.

As usual, at around two o’clock, the youth was actually arrested and searched by the police at the Tripura border, found a total of 48 grams of brown sugar in four soap cases.

At this time, the jawans of D/37 Battalion of C Company of CRPF were working. The arrested youth’s house is in Tupiravan village of Dharmanagar. The police are interrogating him and will file a case under NDPS Act against him and send him to court tomorrow.
