Agartala Battalion of 21 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted a cleanliness drive at Neermahal, Sepahijala District, Tripura on 23 July 22 under the initiative of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”.
The event was organised with an aim to sensitize the local populace about the importance of clean and healthy environment.
The local populace were also briefed about the benefits of keeping the surrounding neat and clean including proper segregation and disposal of solid waste.
Total 24 civil voluntarily participated in the cleanliness drive and express gratitude to Assam Rifles for undertaking such initiative.
