Agartala, 20th November 2025:  The TRESP-TPD (Elementary Level) Teachers’ Training Program at Jolaibari BRC Hall under Jolaibari Block is progressing effectively, bringing together educators for a comprehensive professional development initiative. The training is being conducted in collaboration with SCERT, Tripura, and Transform Trust (Technical Support Agency – TSA) under the Department of School Education. This program is designed to strengthen foundational teaching practices and improve learning outcomes across government schools.

On Thursday, the Transform Trust (TSA) inspection team  Shri. Ikbal Hossen(IC_South Tripura District) along with BRC coordinator Shri. Bikash Debnath visited the Jolaibari venue to review the training quality, observe live sessions, and interact with teachers and Master Trainers. The team assessed how effectively the modules are being implemented and provided supportive feedback to ensure that the sessions remain impactful and aligned with TRESP standards.

The training content closely reflects the goals of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), focusing on transforming classrooms into child-centric, activity-based learning spaces. Teachers are being guided on developing effective Lesson Plans, understanding and achieving Students’ Learning Outcomes (SLOs), and incorporating peer learning strategies to enhance collaboration among students.

Participants are also being trained to adopt modern pedagogical tools such as competency-based education, experiential learning, and reflective practice. These approaches ensure that teachers can deliver more engaging and results-oriented classroom experiences. Emphasis is placed on improving the quality of education, strengthening assessment practices, and contributing to measurable improvements in student performance.

During the inspection, the TSA team appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication of the teachers and Master Trainers. They highlighted the importance of consistent professional development and encouraged all participants to apply the newly acquired skills in their respective schools to improve classroom interactions and student learning outcomes.

The successful ongoing training at Jolaibari demonstrates the strong partnership between the Department of School Education, SCERT, and Transform Trust. Together, they aim to build a progressive, accountable, and learning-focused school ecosystem in South Tripura.

With continued monitoring, collaboration, and teacher participation, the TRESP-TPD training is expected to contribute significantly towards elevating educational standards and ensuring better learning outcomes for children across the district.
