Pradyot Kishore condemns attacks on party offices, demands stern action against miscreants

Agartala, 22nd November 2025:    Former Tipra Motha supremo and MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarma has strongly condemned the series of attacks and arson incidents targeting the party’s offices across the state. Returning to Tripura, Debbarma expressed sharp outrage over the vandalism and fire set at the Motha’s headquarters, calling for immediate legal action against those responsible.

Debbarma alleged that miscreants, hiding under the banners of various political parties, were staging the violence. “These attackers are not political workers; they are criminals. Goons have no political religion or identity,” he said, urging authorities to identify and arrest the culprits without delay.

Over the past few weeks, several Tipra Motha offices have reportedly been vandalized and set ablaze. Debbarma noted that not only party infrastructure but also grassroots workers have repeatedly come under attack. Despite this, he claimed, the blame for political clashes in the state is being unfairly directed at Tipra Motha.

“Why would our workers attack their own party offices or set them on fire?” Debbarma questioned, stressing that those targeting Motha workers must face strict legal consequences. He further demanded that political protection should not be extended to such miscreants.

Calling for accountability, Debbarma reiterated that violence carried out under the guise of political flags must be exposed and punished under the law.
