Agartala, 22nd November 2025:    Marking the NDA’s triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections, the BJP Dhalai District Committee today held a ‘Bihar Vijay Samabesh’ at Halahali Bazaar with enthusiastic participation from party workers and supporters.

State SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das led the programme and addressed the gathering, stressing the significance of the electoral outcome. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for the coalition’s remarkable achievement in Bihar, describing the victory as a milestone that would further reinforce the BJP’s organizational strength.

Das expressed confidence that the mandate would inspire grassroots workers and propel the party to expand its influence not only in Bihar but also in Tripura and across the country. He stated that the massive turnout at the event demonstrated renewed energy within the organization and a commitment to advancing the party’s nationwide outreach efforts.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked a historic record today with a massive victory rally at the Joy Chandra Bal Mandir ground in Melaghar, celebrating the party’s recent triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections. The gathering witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with the venue packed to capacity as supporters and party workers joined the event.

The rally was organized by the BJP’s South Sipahijala district unit, following the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) sweeping victory in Bihar earlier this month. Since then, BJP units across Tripura have been holding victory processions and rallies to commemorate the win.

Leaders present at the Melaghar rally included Bhagaban Das, MLA from Tripura Assembly; Tafajjal Hossain, MLA from Boxanagar assembly constituency; Uttam Das, president of BJP’s South Sepahijala district unit; minority leader Billal Mia; along with representatives from four mandals across the region.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Bhagaban Das highlighted the significance of the Bihar victory, asserting that the BJP is poised for similar success in the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. Meanwhile, MLA Tafajjal Hossain launched a sharp attack on CPI(M) state committee secretary Jiten Choudhury, calling him “insane” and urging that he be admitted to a nursing home.

The rally’s massive turnout highlighted the BJP’s growing influence in Tripura, with the Melaghar event standing out as a landmark show of strength.
