Agartala, 8th December 2025: Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury has confirmed that preparations for the grand finale of Unity Promo Fest – 2025 are nearing completion, with the concluding celebration set to take place on December 12 at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala.
To ensure flawless execution of the high-profile event, the minister presided over an extensive review meeting at the State Secretariat. Key officials—including Tourism Department Secretary U.K. Chakma, IG (Law & Order) Ipper Manchak Dnyanoba, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak, as well as directors and joint directors of the Tourism Department—participated in the session. The discussions centered on operational coordination, security measures, and strategies for efficient crowd control, considering the massive turnout expected.
Adding to the mounting excitement across the state, celebrated Bollywood playback singer Jubin Nautiyal is set to deliver a live performance during the closing ceremony. His upcoming appearance has sparked widespread enthusiasm, with fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to watch him perform on stage.
Ahead of the event, the Tourism Department began distributing entry passes on Monday, drawing an enormous response. Agartala Town Hall witnessed heavy footfall from the early hours, as long queues formed outside the distribution counter. People from different age groups patiently braved the heat—many sheltered under umbrellas or armed with water bottles—hoping to secure passes for the much-awaited musical evening.
Officials anticipate an exceptionally large gathering at the festival grounds, stating that the overwhelming demand on the first day of pass distribution highlights Jubin Nautiyal’s remarkable popularity in Tripura. Authorities expect the high rush for passes to continue over the coming days.
