Agartala, 15th December 2025 : Tilthai, Dharmanagar: Aryavart International University (AIU), North Tripura’s private university, launches a government-approved Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Centre under Start-up Tripura. This move opens major opportunities for young entrepreneurs to turn ideas into thriving startups with state support and mentorship.
The Department of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, approves the centre under Director (IT) Shri Jeya Ragul Geshan B, IFS. University positions it as a launchpad for student innovators to access funding, training, prototyping, and market validation through the Start-up Tripura network.
Chancellor Dr. Gunjan Bansal calls it a game-changer for youth. “Young entrepreneurs now have a dedicated space to solve real-world problems in digital tech, social impact, and beyond, aligning with NEP 2020’s entrepreneurship push,” she states.
Chairman Mr. Raman Kumar Roshan highlights India’s startup boom. “This centre empowers Tripura’s youth to build industry-relevant ventures with faculty guidance and government backing,” Roshan says.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Shaiju David outlines the support pipeline. “From ideation to market-ready products, young founders get mentors, challenges, and resources linking academia to Start-up Tripura,” he adds.
The centre offers hands-on prototyping, innovation competitions, research commercialization, and industry partnerships. Students and faculty collaborate on scalable ideas, boosting Tripura’s startup ecosystem.
Local youth gain direct pathways to entrepreneurship success. Early-stage ventures receive validation, funding access, and exposure, creating jobs and innovation hubs in North Tripura.
Aryavart International University, Tripura’s leading private university, established by the State Legislature of the Government of Tripura under Act No. 03 of 2023, is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Directorate of Medical Education (DME).
