Amarpur RD Block secures second place nationally for development excellence

Agartala, 16th December 2025:   Amarpur RD Block has achieved the distinction of securing the second position nationwide for its unique approach to development, marked by transparency, aesthetic planning, and effective execution. Under the leadership of Block Officer Utpal Das and local MLA Ranjit Das, the block has set a remarkable example by successfully implementing one government project after another across various panchayats and block offices.

A significant administrative meeting was held at the block conference hall today, where several new development projects were inaugurated through plaque unveiling ceremonies. The event highlighted Amarpur RD Block’s commitment to strengthening grassroots governance and delivering schemes effectively to the people.

The program was attended by Amarpur MLA Ranjit Das, Ampi Nagar MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, EM Dolly Reang, BAC Chairman Rabie Jamatia, Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Suchitra Das, Additional District Magistrate, and several other dignitaries.

Following the inauguration, MLA Ranjit Das emphasized that good intentions and efficient officials are key to ensuring that government projects reach the common people in the right way. He further noted that the dedication and positive mindset of Amarpur’s block officials have enabled the block to secure the second position nationally and earn recognition for its outstanding performance.
