Agartala, 17th December 2025:  Aryavart International University (AIU), Tripura’s leading private university, announces a major faculty recruitment drive for the academic year 2026–27, inviting applications for the positions of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Dean, Director, and Research/Retired Professor on regular and contractual basis. Drawing inspiration from leading institutions’ research-focused appointments, selected candidates will be expected to guide and collaborate on high‑quality interdisciplinary research projects, mentor and supervise students (including Ph.D. scholars where applicable), and help the university secure external research grants and consultancies, alongside their regular teaching responsibilities.

Applications are invited in the following disciplines: Law, Pharmacy, Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Agriculture, Allied Healthcare (Paramedical), Journalism & Mass Communication, and Humanities. AIU welcomes candidates meeting UGC norms, including enthusiastic freshers with strong subject knowledge and a positive attitude, while giving preference to Ph.D. holders, UGC NET-qualified candidates, and senior/retired professors with proven research and teaching excellence.

AIU’s HR team will contact shortlisted applicants for interviews and further steps, prioritizing purpose‑driven professionals committed to supportive, student‑centered learning environments. Candidates must email their detailed CV and relevant documents to hr@aiuniversity.edu.in; retired government or university faculty with distinguished track records are especially encouraged to apply for senior academic and research leadership roles such as Professor, Dean, Director, and Research Professor.

Chancellor Dr. Gunjan Bansal notes that, with new programs like BSc Agriculture planned for 2026–27, this recruitment supports expansion while maintaining excellence across Pharmacy, Law, Technology, Agriculture, Management, Journalism, and Humanities. The drive aligns with AIU’s broader growth, including initiatives such as the Start‑up Tripura Incubation Centre and NSP scholarship support, offering local and national educators stable academic careers within a multidisciplinary, eco‑friendly campus at Tilthai, Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

Registrar Dr. Ruma Koiri emphasizes the university’s commitment to transparent recruitment and academic rigour, highlighting that AIU seeks faculty who combine subject expertise with mentorship, ethical values, and community engagement. She adds that the university’s regulatory approvals and growing portfolio of accredited programs provide an enabling environment for teachers to innovate in curriculum, research, and outreach.

AIU’s program portfolio for 2026–27 includes PCI‑approved Pharmacy courses (B.Pharm, D.Pharm), BCI‑approved Law programs (BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, LLM), DME‑approved paramedical programs (BMLT, DMLT, BOT, DOT), Management programs (MBA, BBA), Technology programs (B.Tech CSE, BCA), as well as Journalism and Humanities.
