Agartala, 22nd December 2025: In the wake of the untimely death of Prasenjit Sarkar, a delivery boy employed with Bluedart Courier Services, the Dharmanagar community has been left in deep mourning. In a compassionate gesture, a delegation from the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has stepped forward to support the bereaved family during this difficult time.
Sarkar’s younger brother is currently pursuing his first semester in History Honours at Dharmanagar College, while his younger sister is preparing for her upcoming secondary school examinations. Recognizing the family’s vulnerable situation, Advocate Debdas Baksi, Legal Cell In-Charge of BJYM Tripura Pradesh and a practicing advocate at the Tripura High Court, visited the family at their residence. He assured them of all necessary assistance for the siblings’ education and overall well-being.
During his visit, Advocate Baksi also pledged to ensure that those responsible for Prasenjit’s death are brought to justice. He emphasized his commitment to preventing the accused from evading legal consequences, even through appeals in higher courts. “We will leave no stone unturned to secure exemplary punishment for the culprits,” he stated.
Accompanying Advocate Baksi were Shubhankar Saha, Secretary of BJYM Tripura Pradesh, and Biswarik Bhattacharjee, Secretary of BJYM North Tripura District. Their presence underscored the organization’s solidarity with the grieving family.
Local residents have lauded the BJYM’s initiative, describing it as a much-needed source of comfort and justice for a family left without support. The party’s firm stance in favor of justice and its humanitarian outreach have been widely appreciated in the community.
