Agartala, 31st December 2025: A six-day long, non-residential Skill Development Training Programme on “Pastry Cake Making” is scheduled to be organized by NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT) in the second week of January 2026.
This initiative aims to benefit unemployed youths of Tripura by providing hands-on training in bakery and confectionery skills, besides that the trainees will also get an exposure to be a part of multiple theoretical discussion sessions on enhancing entrepreneurial skills at ARKANEER Premise, Sekerkote, West Tripura.
The eligibility criteria will be valid for unemployed youth, especially for women/SHG members. The minimum educational qualification required is Class VIII pass, and the age criteria for participation are from 18 to 40 years. No TA/DA will be provided to the trainees during the programme.
The enrolment procedure of the said training program will occur through the mode of “First comes First avail”. On successful completion of the training, participants will be awarded a certificate issued by NBIRT, which is expected to enhance their employment opportunities in the food and bakery sector.
