Agartala, 10th January 2026: A 23-year-old blogger from Tripura has been missing for the past eight days after travelling to Nagaland, leaving his family in acute distress and uncertainty.
The missing youth has been identified as Pranab Das, a resident of Malayanagar Nepali Para under Srinagar Police Station. According to family members, Pranab was engaged in blogging and frequently travelled to different places to collect video content for publication on his platform.
Family sources said Pranab had left for Nagaland some time ago for professional work and had contacted his parents after reaching there. However, his mobile phone has remained switched off since January 3, and no information regarding his whereabouts has been available since then. Despite extensive searches among relatives, friends, and acquaintances, the family has failed to trace him.
Following his disappearance, Pranab’s family lodged a missing person report at Srinagar Police Station. However, they have alleged that no effective steps have been taken so far to locate him. Pranab’s father claimed that repeated attempts to seek updates from the police have yielded no cooperation or concrete response.
The prolonged absence of their son has left the parents deeply anxious and emotionally shattered. With hopes dwindling, the family has appealed to the Chief Minister of Tripura and the local MLA, urging immediate intervention to ensure a prompt and serious search operation.
The family has demanded that the administration take an active and coordinated role in tracing Pranab Das at the earliest and bring an end to their growing anguish.
