Agartala, 19th January 2026: A woman identified as Babita Debbarma collapsed unexpectedly during a family court hearing at the Bishalgarh Court premises this morning, triggering a brief commotion among those present.
Sources informed that Babita Debbarma had been involved in a prolonged marital dispute with her husband, which led to the filing of a case at the Bishalgarh Court. She appeared in court today for a scheduled hearing related to the matter.
Eyewitnesses reported that Debbarma suddenly felt unwell during the proceedings and became visibly weak inside the courtroom. Noticing her condition, lawyers, court staff, and others present rushed to her aid. The fire and emergency services were immediately alerted and arrived promptly at the scene. The responders provided initial assistance and transported her to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Her current condition remains unknown. The incident caused a temporary disruption in court proceedings.
