Tripura to celebrate statehood day on Jan 21, CM to inaugurate

Agartala, 19th January 2026 :  Tripura will celebrate its Statehood day on January 21 with a grand event at the Rabindra Centennial Hall.

The ceremony will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha.

The event will see the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Minister of Industries Santana Chakma, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sudhanshu Das, Cooperation Minister Shukla Charan Noatia, and Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman.

Special invited guest will be Member of Parliament Kriti Devi Debbarma, while Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Director General of Police Anurag, and Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs Dr. P.K. Chakraborty will attend as special guests.

The celebration is expected to showcase Tripura’s rich cultural heritage and mark an important milestone in the state’s history.
