Agartala, 24th January 2026: The multidisciplinary Institution, NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT) of Sekerkote has announced the list of selected meritorious students for the Arka Scholarship 2025.
Based on the final decision of the examination committee, the scholarship recipients are: Pritam Nama Das, Rupanjana Debnath, Samprikta Majumder , Tanisha Paul, Anjelina Debbarma of Pranabananda Vidya Mandir; Adrija Chakraborty & Asmita Pal of Auxilium Girl’s School; Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School students Ananya Bhowmik and Abantika Deb, respectively; Manali Saha, student of Kshudiram Basu Engligh Medium School and Taniska Sharma of Vivekananda Higher Secondary School, Teliamura.
It is noteworthy that out of the top 11 selected students this year, 10 are girls. A total of 11 meritorious students will receive scholarships, memento and certificate, through an function scheduled on February 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Agartala Press Club.
The renowned Solar Scientist and President of Arkaneer, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Gon Chaudhury and other high officials are expected to attend the said function. The Project Officer of NBIRT requests the scholarship recipients and their parents to attend the function and make the event a success.
Noteworthy, a competitive written examination was held on September 7, 2025, at Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School to select the recipient of the Arka Scholarship, with 142 students of class XI participating from various schools.
