Agartala, 28th January 2026: The Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced the sale of enemy properties across several states through an e-auction. A notification regarding this has been issued.
A total of 32 enemy properties will be auctioned on January 28, 2026, via the e-auction platform of government-owned MSTC Ltd. These properties are located in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Port Blair (Andaman & Nicobar Islands), and Tripura.
In Tripura, four enemy properties in the West Tripura district are included in the auction. These are situated along the Assam–Agartala road, in the North Champamura/Briddhanagar and Joynagar areas, under the Jirania, Khayerpur, and East Barjala tehsils.
Interested bidders must register on the MSTC portal by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs 1,180, valid for one year. They must also submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as specified for each property. Details on property locations, reserve prices, and inspection schedules are available in the auction catalogue.
The highest bidder is required to deposit 25% of the bid amount within 30 days of receiving the acceptance letter, with the remaining 75% due within the next 90 days. Upon full payment, a sale certificate will be issued for the property.
