Two Migrant Workers Seriously Injured After Electrocution in Manu

Agartala, 3rd February 2026:   Two migrant workers from Bihar were seriously injured after being electrocuted while on duty in Manu. The incident occurred when the workers were carrying out electricity service work, local sources said.

During the operation, the two workers reportedly came into contact with a live electric line and were electrocuted. As a result, they lost balance and were thrown down from a height of nearly 20 feet. Both sustained severe injuries to different parts of their bodies due to the fall.

Following the accident, they were rushed to Bimal Sinha Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment. Hospital sources said that both workers are currently in critical condition. One of the injured workers has since been referred to another hospital for advanced medical care.
