Agartala, 14th February 2026:    A young homemaker was denied the chance to sit for the STGT examination after reaching the test centre beyond the scheduled reporting time, sparking commotion in the premises.

Reportedly, the candidate, a resident of Jirania explained to the media personnel that delays at home due to caring for her infant and heavy traffic en route caused her late arrival.

She alleged that despite repeated requests, officials on duty at the centre gate refused her entry, citing strict rules that prohibit candidates from entering after the designated time.

The incident left the examinee mentally shattered. She expressed deep frustration, saying that months of preparation had gone in vain.

Meanwhile, several candidates raised concerns over exam scheduling and traffic management, questioning whether adequate measures were in place to ensure timely arrival for all.
