Agartala, 5th March 2026 : Police successfully recovered a homemade gun from a dense forest in the Khadernal area under the jurisdiction of Natun Bazar Police Station on Thursday afternoon.
Acting on a tip-off from a confidential source, the Natun Bazar police conducted a search operation in the area. During the operation, they managed to locate and seize the homemade firearm, which was later brought to the Natun Bazar police station.
However, authorities have not yet been able to trace who left the gun in the forest or for what purpose. The recovery of the weapon has caused alarm among local residents, especially as the ADC election approaches.
