Agartala, 9th March 2026: Political activity is intensifying in the hilly regions ahead of the upcoming ADC Village elections. In this context, on Monday, the BJP’s 44 Raima Valley Mandal organized a mass induction event in the Joyram Para area of the ADC Village under the 44 Raima Valley Assembly constituency.
The program was graced by the presence of Bikash Debbarma, Minister of the State Department of Tribal Welfare, as the chief guest. Also present were ADC member Bhumika Nand Reang, State Committee Secretary of the Tribal Morcha Joy Bahadur Rupini, and several other BJP leaders.
During the event, a total of 284 voters from 112 families joined the BJP from various political parties. They were formally welcomed into the party by receiving the BJP flag. Minister Bikash Debbarma and other leaders extended a warm reception to the new members.
Many of the inductees were previously associated with parties such as Tipra Motha, CPI(M), Congress, and IPFT. They stated that witnessing the current state government’s administrative initiatives and development projects firsthand inspired them to join the BJP.
In his address, Minister Bikash Debbarma highlighted that the state government is implementing multiple projects in tribal-dominated areas focusing on education, communication infrastructure, and social development. He assured that this developmental momentum would continue in the coming days.
According to local BJP leaders, this mass induction will strengthen the party’s organization in the hilly regions and inject fresh energy among workers ahead of the upcoming ADC Village elections.
